The Skills for Life Bootcamp in Health and Social Care helps you build the skills and confidence needed to become a great team leader or supervisor in the care sector. This course follows National care standard and links to level 3-5 cre qualifications, making it ideal for people who want to move into a leadership role or strengthen their existing skills.
Delivered with the support of Greater London Authority and open to London Residents.
Note this is a level 3 equivalent qualification.
What the Bootcamp covers:
Over 7 weeks, you'll take part in both online and face-to-face learning that focuses on real care situations. You'll gain knowledge in supervision, safe care practices and communication with options to specialise in Medication Management or End-of-Life & Dementia care once you're working in the sector.
Whether you're new to care or looking to build on existing experience, this bootcamp not only builds knowledge but also develops confidence, employability, and readiness for real-world social care roles.

What does this include
This course is for adults age 19 or over as of the 31st August 2025.
It is suitable for unemployed individuals and those currently employed looking to upskill.
You must be able to commit to attend 100% of the live sessions. Applicants will be rejected if you are not willing to commit to the course duration.
