The Kent County Council Skills for Life Bootcamp in Adult Social Care is designed to prepare you for a rewarding career in the social care sector. Closely aligned with the knowledge and competencies required for the Level 2 Care Certificate, this programme provides an ideal entry route for individuals new to care or looking for a structured induction.
Over 7 weeks this bootcamp covers the essential foundation for anyone starting a career in care, You'll also have the chance to specialise in areas such as Dementia an End-of-Life Care or Medication Administration once you move into employment.
Whether you're new to care or looking to build on exisiting experience, this bootcamp not only builds knowledge but also develops confidence, employability, and readiness for real-world social care roles.
What You'll Learn:
Generalist Route (7 Weeks)

Week 1 – Your role and duty of care as a social care worker

Week 3 – Understanding mental health and learning disabilities (Autism, Dementia)

What you will acheieve
This course is for adults age 19 or over as of the 31st August 2025.
It is suitable for unemployed individuals and those currently employed looking to upskill.
You must be able to commit to attend 100% of the live sessions. Applicants will be rejected if you are not willing to commit to the course duration.
